Lecture: Life of Caravaggio, Part I

On June 2, 2011, patrons members enjoyed the first installment of a two-part lecture series about the great artist Caravaggio. His miraculous paintings are some of those popular in Rome and at the Vatican Museums. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Eric Hansen, scholar& author, who is currently working on a history of the Papal Foundation and a study of the Pontifical Household.  Dr. Hansen is also a Resident Fellow of the Magis Institute, an organization dedicated to “healing the culture through Catholic spirituality”.  Dr. Hansen provided an insightful and memorable lecture on the volatile life of Caravaggio.  Thank you to everyone involved, and we look forward to the second lecture, coming soon!
