Thank you to our group of New York Chapter Patrons who came to The Cloisters to experience Art Across Medieval Spain: Religion & Pilgrimage.
On Saturday, September 10, 2016 Peter A. Vergara gave a spectacular gallery talk to members of The New York Patrons.
Peter is a student of Fordham University in the Bronx where he studies Art History and Philosophy with a minor in Political Science. This past summer, he interned full-time at the Hispanic Society of America, in line with his heritage and interest in Hispanic and Latino Art History. At The Hispanic Society of America, he conducted tours, assisted in curatorial research, and aided with museum development. Last summer, after freshman year, he interned full-time at The Met Cloisters.
At The Cloisters, Peter researched and wrote an hour long gallery talk focusing on seven objects in the museum collection explaining the turbulent and fascinating period of Medieval Spain.
